Phentermine Diet Pills: The 37.5 mg 90 Pill Review

Phentermine is one of those diet pills that everyone keeps talking about. But is it the right pill for your diet needs? This article will discuss some of the reviews that I have read on Phentermine pills.

Well, the first phentermine review I read made the diet pill sound a lot like taking adderall when you don't have attention deficit disorder.

That is to say, the heart beats quickly, the mouth is constantly dry, the diet is totally suppressed and it may be hard to sleep at night. This, of course, does not bode well for phentermine. I kept thinking to myself; no wonder this drug needs a prescription.

Another review made it very clear that phentermine can work fine for certain people. There were no complaints about the pill and its effects; however the dieter claimed to lose a whopping 58 pounds in the first three months! Those are amazing results no matter how you slice it; however I wonder if there were not serious side effects to the dieter's health.

What is the Phentermine 37.5 mg Tablet All About:

Simply put, phentermine is a pharmaceutical appetite suppressant. The idea behind phentermine is that it is to be used for short periods of time by obese patients typically in 37.5 mg tablets or capsules. This of course, should be combined with exercise, proper diet and possible behavioral modification to aid in dieting. Basically, you cannot just start taking the pill and watch the pounds melt away. As most diet pills, it is the pills along with a better diet that really makes the difference in losing weight and keeping it off. However that is not to say phentermine will not give your systems a nice jolt to get started.

Phentermine is typically prescribed to obese patients who are at medical risk because of their weight. Basically, phentermine helps to release chemicals that tell the brain it is not hungry and bingo! The weight starts coming right off.

One positive about phentermine, is that it has been around since 1959 when it first received approval by the FDA as an appetite suppressing drug. There is, however, an obvious relationship between phentermine and other amphetamines. This means that addiction to the weight loss pill is very possible.

The idea behind phentermine, is that it works with neurotransmitters in your brain, specifically, norepinephrine, dopamine and epinephrine. So we see that the drug works on the central nervous system, thus telling the body it does not need to feed. This is pretty much what would happen if you took any methamphetamine.

The 37.5 Phentermine Bottom Line: 90 Pills for a Diet Cure?

There are several different doses of phentermine available through prescription, which means your doctor will decide how many milligrams you will start with. 37.5 mg happens to be the largest does and they come in tablet and capsule form. If you are a little nervous about taking what is essentially a methamphetamine, let your doctor know, so that he can start you on a lower dose. Remember to record your appetite and mood while on phentermine, so when you see your doctor again, you can accurately tell him how you felt from one day to the next.

Phentermine may be the answer to your diet problems. Since it is seen more as a drug that would be taken for short periods of time, it might be the small step you needed to start eating healthier and exercising more. Sometimes all we need is a little boost to start losing weight. Phentermine might be that boost for you. Good luck and happy dieting!
